From July 23 to 29, 2024, the Thematic School of Advanced Vocational Training of Egaleo (SAEK Egaleo) proudly hosted in Greece 16 trainers from Israel and 7 trainers from Albania as part of the European program BigArt..
Throughout the week, the BIG ART program highlighted how Augmented Reality (AR) can be applied in education to:
- Strengthen the professional skills of both students and trainers
- Foster collaboration with industry stakeholders
- Promote intercultural dialogue and cooperation across Europe
As part of their learning journey, the SAEK Egaleo team together with the visiting BIG ART trainers had the opportunity to explore Hellenic Cosmos and immerse themselves in Extended Reality (XR). Using state-of-the-art VR headsets, participants experienced vivid reconstructions of ancient cities and monuments, connecting technology with cultural heritage in a truly innovative way.
This was a unique and inspiring experience that combined technology, education, and culture. We warmly thank Hellenic Cosmos and CEO Dimitris Efraimoglou for offering the public the chance to discover and interact with XR technologies.
