Train the Trainer I in Greece
The BIG ART Train-the-Trainers Bootcamp brought VET educators from Israel, Albania and Greece together in Athens for an intensive week of AR/VR training, collaboration and practical experimentation.
Building Teaching Capacity
The training aimed to strengthen the pedagogical and technological skills of VET trainers, with a particular focus on Matterport technology, 3D Digital Twins and the creation of immersive virtual tours for vocational education.
Learning by Doing
The programme combined lectures, hands-on workshops, practical laboratory sessions and collaborative project-based activities, allowing trainers to directly experience how immersive technologies can be integrated into teaching.

The bootcamp combined technical knowledge with pedagogical application, helping educators connect new technologies with their own vocational specialisations.

BIG ART in action — July 2024
On 25 July 2024, SAEK Egaleo shared the arrival and training of 16 trainers from Israel and 7 trainers from Albania, hosted in Greece as part of the BIG ART Train-the-Trainers programme.
Training Outcomes
The Train-the-Trainers activity strengthened educators’ confidence in using Matterport and immersive technologies, supported the development of pilot virtual tours and created a foundation for integrating AR/VR methods into subsequent BIG ART classroom and project-based learning activities.
