Piloting Course & Work-Based Learning
Students from Israel, Albania and Greece participated in the pilot implementation of the BIG ART AR/VR Course, combining structured digital training with practical learning activities linked to vocational contexts.
From Training to Practice
During the Winter Semester 2025 (October 2025 – January 2026), students from Israel, Albania and Greece actively participated in the pilot implementation of the BIG ART AR/VR Course. The pilot phase integrated immersive digital technologies into everyday vocational education practice.
Learning in Real Contexts
As part of the Work-Based Learning component, students applied their newly acquired skills in real or simulated professional scenarios, strengthening technical competences, problem-solving abilities and collaborative skills.
Technology, practice and collaboration
The three-month blended learning experience combined theoretical knowledge with hands-on activities and applications connected to vocational education.
AR/VR Foundations
Theoretical foundations of Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and 3D Digital Twin technologies.
Immersive 3D Environments
Hands-on creation and exploration of immersive 3D environments using Matterport technology.
Industry-Oriented Applications
Practical use of AR/VR tools in activities linked to vocational and professional contexts.
Project-Based Learning
Collaborative projects connecting digital skills, problem solving and real-world vocational challenges.

Certificate of Completion
Upon successful completion of the course, students received a Certificate of Completion validating their participation and the digital competences developed during the pilot phase, supporting their future employability in an increasingly digital labour market.
Preparing Students for the Next Stage
The pilot course also prepared students for participation in the international BIG ART Bootcamp, strengthening readiness for transnational collaboration, innovative project work and the practical use of immersive technologies in vocational environments.
