{"id":1892,"date":"2026-03-05T22:04:00","date_gmt":"2026-03-05T19:04:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bigart-vet.eu\/?p=1892"},"modified":"2026-03-13T22:11:20","modified_gmt":"2026-03-13T19:11:20","slug":"national-big-art-bootcamp-successfully-held-in-israel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bigart-vet.eu\/?p=1892","title":{"rendered":"National BIG ART Bootcamp Successfully Held in Israel"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On <strong>2 March 2026<\/strong>, the <strong>National Bootcamp of the BIG ART Project<\/strong> was successfully organised in <strong>Israel<\/strong>, bringing together VET students who presented innovative virtual tour projects developed during the project\u2019s training activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to the armed conflict situation in the region, the bootcamp was conducted <strong>online<\/strong> to ensure the safety of all participants. Despite several interruptions caused by air-raid sirens and temporary power outages, the event was completed successfully and all teams managed to present their projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The purpose of the event was to showcase the students\u2019 ability to use <strong>AR\/VR technologies and digital twin tools<\/strong> for the creation of immersive virtual environments. Through this process, students demonstrated how these technologies can be applied in different professional sectors such as education, healthcare, and cultural heritage documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following projects were presented during the bootcamp:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>GC Experience \u2013 The Next Generation of Laboratory Training: Gas Chromatography Virtual Tour<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dialysis Room \u2013 3D Digital Twin of a Medical Training Environment<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Goldstein\u2019s House \u2013 Digital Documentation of a Residential Property<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>La Riad \u2013 360\u00b0 Virtual Tour of the Conservation Building<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The projects were evaluated by the national evaluation committee according to the official <strong>BIG ART assessment criteria<\/strong>, focusing on technical quality, pedagogical value, creativity, collaboration with industry partners, and teamwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the evaluation process, the highest-ranked projects were selected to represent <strong>Israel at the International BIG ART Bootcamp and Competition held in Athens, Greece, from 9 to 13 March 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Israeli bootcamp highlighted the strong engagement of students and teachers in the project and demonstrated the potential of <strong>digital twin technologies and immersive learning tools in vocational education and training<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 2 March 2026, the National Bootcamp of the BIG ART Project was successfully organised in Israel, bringing together VET students who presented innovative virtual tour projects developed during the project\u2019s training activities.
