{"id":1449,"date":"2025-09-04T12:23:28","date_gmt":"2025-09-04T09:23:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bigart-vet.eu\/?p=1449"},"modified":"2025-09-06T11:53:41","modified_gmt":"2025-09-06T08:53:41","slug":"big-art-vet-in-greece-augmented-reality-meets-education-and-culture","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bigart-vet.eu\/?p=1449","title":{"rendered":"BIG ART VET in Greece: Augmented Reality Meets Education and Culture"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-6a223d0a-6cd3-45c5-a645-e256d80f9530\" style=\"font-size:18px;line-height:1.8\">From July 23 to 29, 2024, the <strong>Thematic School of Advanced Vocational Training of Egaleo (SAEK Egaleo)<\/strong> proudly hosted in Greece <strong>16 trainers from Israel<\/strong> and <strong>7 trainers from Albania<\/strong> as part of the European program <strong>BigArt.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-7a3c28ab-4fdd-44a3-b33b-fcb76eb9887f\" style=\"font-size:18px;line-height:1.8\">Throughout the week, the BIG ART program highlighted how <strong>Augmented Reality (AR)<\/strong> can be applied in education to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul id=\"block-c17c7c64-2721-4d8e-b312-99f2ef620212\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"font-size:18px;line-height:1.8\">Strengthen the professional skills of both students and trainers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:18px;line-height:1.8\">Foster collaboration with industry stakeholders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:18px;line-height:1.8\">Promote intercultural dialogue and cooperation across Europe<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-2ce6571d-402e-4cdb-a653-a894d0894bbf\" style=\"font-size:18px;line-height:1.8\">As part of their learning journey, the <strong>SAEK Egaleo team<\/strong> together with the visiting BIG ART trainers had the opportunity to explore <strong>Hellenic Cosmos<\/strong> and immerse themselves in <strong>Extended Reality (XR)<\/strong>. Using state-of-the-art <strong>VR headsets<\/strong>, participants experienced vivid reconstructions of ancient cities and monuments, connecting technology with cultural heritage in a truly innovative way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-f7904b6f-3dc7-419e-ac88-b1bd27e383ea\" style=\"font-size:18px;line-height:1.8\">This was a unique and inspiring experience that combined <strong>technology, education, and culture<\/strong>.
